HOW MIGHT AI HELP ENRICH THE HUMAN EXPERIENCE

Artificial intelligence already holds immense promise in enhancing our material and emotional well-being — from health and education to career development, relationships, and financial security. But in an increasingly uncertain and fragmented world, a deeper question emerges: can AI also enrich our sense of meaning and purpose, contributing to a more compassionate and sustainable future? In 2025, we are launching a global research initiative to explore this very question — aiming to guide the evolution of AI toward the greater good of humanity.

Introducing the research

We have crossed a threshold in human history, though we pretend it is merely another product cycle. Artificial Intelligence is not a tool upgrade. It is not just another revolution. It is a mirror so vast that civilisation itself is now standing before it.

Already, the research shows how AI can positively impact every aspect of our human experience. But it also illustrates how global uncertainties could alter such effects. What choices do we make now to prepare for future variations?

In addition to improving our material well-being, AI may help humans reconnect with their spiritual values. What measures might apply here?

The biggest question we face today is, who will we be when the machines have done everything else? With the advent of agentic AI and the Intelligence Stack, technology will automate routine tasks, freeing up 25-35 additional hours per week to pursue our interests and passions.

The biggest question we have to ask as we enter the age of AI is What does it mean to be Human. In a recent public speech, Roger Camrass focuses on the educational and career challenges we face as we enter uncharted waters.

As machines acquire near-human capabilities, how do we redefine our meaning and purpose for the coming AI era?
